NorTech, Incorporated was founded by Norman Milner in Lanett, Alabama. The concept and design team of NorTech has over 100 years experience. The latest in world technology is used in the design and manufacture of all NorTech machines.

NorTech's product line began in 1975 with the introduction of tube strippers for the man made fiber industry. Tube strippers are now used to strip yarn and fiber from tubes without damage to the tubes by the fiber and yarn industry. Recyclers that want the fastest method to remove material from tubes also use tube strippers. NorTech tube strippers strip fiber and yarn from skinner to full packages at the same speed.

Book Debinders that separate paper from covers and binders for the printing, publishing and recycling industry began production in 1978. NorTech's book debinders are known for their high speed, heavy-duty construction and full automation. book debinders also have automatic book loaders, automatic paper separation from covers and binders plus paper removal conveyors.

2003 brings the latest product line developed by NorTech, Tubular Film Roll Wrappers.

Tubular Film Roll Wrappers use tubular film made of most of the packaging type plastics, including linear low density polyethylene.

While Tubular Film Roll Wrappers are capable of packaging many shape products, the carpet and rug industry has found major labor and material savings using this machine. NorTech has a full compliment of options including automatic roll loaders, and roll packers.
